Valentines Day at Disney

5 Ways to Have a Perfect Date at Disney

So you’re an annual passholder or maybe it’s your first time at Disney and you’ve decided to spice up your trip and make it a romantic day with your special someone.

Walt Disney World is one of my favorite places to go for a quick, fun date with my guy. However, for it to be a truly remarkable romantic date I’ve put together a list of 5 Ways to Have an Amazing Valentine’s Day (or just a wonderful romantic day) at Disney.

Here’s how to have the perfect Romantic Day at Walt Disney World.

The Perfect Disney Date

1.Start the Day Early and Check into an Onsite Resort.

I recommend the Swan & Dolphin Resort. It’s my favorite resort on the property and has great amenities for an affordable price.

2. Head over to Epcot for Wine Tasting Around the World

Staying at the Swan & Dolphin gives you quick, easy boat access to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot’s World Showcase. This back door entrance lands you right in the middle of all the action between the United Kingdom and the France Pavilion…a great place to start your wine tasting adventure.

Mexico Sangria or L.A. Cetto Petite Syrah at La Cava del Tequila
Canada Purchase a bottle of NEIGE Premier Ice Wine at Northwest Mercantile to end the day later in the your hotel room.

United Kingdom Banfi Rosa Regale, Brachetto d’Acqui DOCG, Piedmont at Rose & Crown Pub

3. Return to Swan & Dolphin for a relaxing Spa Experience

Mandara Spa Co.

The Mandara Spa at the Swan & Dolphin Resort is one of central Florida’s top resort spas. It allows you to leave time at the door and offers an array of healing treatments with an ultimate rejuvenating experience. You can sometimes luck up and find a magnificent deal on Groupon for it.

4. Enjoy Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room

Disney Co.

After your romantic spa experience with your love, it’s time for a little “pick me up”. Luckily since you’re in a prime location, you can ride over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for afternoon tea.

The Garden View Tea Room is a beautiful, serene lounge overlooking the Grand Floridian gardens. It will give you a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the theme parks and have a quiet moment with your partner.

5. Book a Fireworks Dining Experience

To cap off the romantic day at Disney, I strongly suggest booking a fireworks experience of some kind. You can do this for FREE and just sit back and enjoy your nice room with the view of Epcot.

Don’t forget to order room service with a romantic touch.

You can also go through Disney.com to reserve a special romantic dinner seating for IllumiNations at Spice Road Table in Epcot.

Hope you all have a wonderful, romantic day at Walt Disney World Resort!

…remember, you can do this amazing day by yourself 🙂

I’m a writer who loves ALL things amusement park related. I was born and raised in Florida, which attributes to my Theme Park passion. Every since I was a child I had a natural affinity to the parks here that has now spilled over into adulthood. Instead of rushing over to the thrill rides, like I used to, you may find me in the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT enjoying a nice glass of wine and a delightful book!
