What to Wear to Disneyland in March for Women
A March day in Anaheim unfortunately has no reliability. Even the weather forecast is not to be trusted.
Women Disneyland Outfit Ideas
March weather will do whatever March weather wants to do and that means as a Disneyland Guest, you need to be prepared for all possibilities!
Base layer
For Disneyland in March, you need a base layer.
It can be a short or long-sleeved t-shirt, just something you can strip down to when the temperatures are hot and an extra layer underneath a sweater when it gets cold.
Leggings/Yoga Pants
Shorts are an obvious choice for California but personally, I prefer lightweight, comfortable pants.
- Buttery Soft Brushed Fabric
- 100% Authentic LuLaRoe Leggings
- Yoga Waistband & No Side Seam
- If you have a color or pattern request please message and we will do our best to accomodate
- Images listed are a sample of what we carry and may not be the actual pair received
Leggings or yoga pants are a great option as they add that extra layer when it’s cooler but are thin enough that you won’t overheat.
A Sweater
March temperatures in Anaheim fluctuate between the mid 50’s and low 70s with extreme unpredictability.
The temperature can also change dramatically throughout the day with cooler mornings and evenings.
No products found.
Preparing for every temperature by taking an extra layer with you will help you enjoy the Disneyland experience even when it gets cold.
For that reason, a sweater or jacket is simply essential.
Waterproof/Water Resistant Shoes
While a rain jacket is great for keeping your body dry, there’ll be no keeping your feet dry unless your shoes are waterproof.
- 1. Fabric
- 2. Breathable and durable air mesh upper allow the foot to breathe.
- 3. Open mesh on the upper and hole on the sole provides for superior breathability and quick drying.
- 4. OCCASION – beach, swimming, pool, wake-boarding, sailing, boating, kayaking, windsurfing, cycling, jogging, walking, fishing, beach volleyball, gardening, lawn, car-washing and driving. Family outings!
- 5. Feel free to contact us if any questions before ordering and after-sale issues!
Although not essential, waterproof or at least water resistant shoes will make the rest of your day more enjoyable if it does rain.
Nobody likes squelching round the parks in soggy sneakers!
Rain Jacket/Poncho
Although sunshine is typically expected throughout the year and rain is more of a rarity in Anaheim, March is one of the most likely times to rain.
A rain jacket or poncho will keep you dry during any rainfall and taking one with you avoids spending the extortionate price tag of a Disney Parks poncho.
- Lightweight and Packable: This unisex rain poncho from Anyoo gives you maximum coverage when you need it, plus easily folds into a compact size of 9 x 3 x 3 in. It can be stored away into the drawstring bag as a sort of emergency rain jacket and taken out and worn when needed. The overlock is well glued to prevent leaking.
- Breathable and Comfortable: Don’t worry that it will make you very hot because the arm holes & bottom are loose enough to allow air circulation. The display size of this poncho is 86″ X 55″. The size is large enough to cover up a backpack as well. It offers excellent freedom of movement, which makes it very comfortable to wear. You can adjust the hood and the side fasteners to suit your needs.
- Durable and Resuable: Made from rip resistant polyester material, with thickened eyelets, the rain poncho offers better weather protection and are permanently water repellent and extremely resistant to abrasion and tearing. Prepare yourself for those unexpected downpours with this emergency rain poncho. A must-have for camping trips, festivals or days out.
- Multi-use: A multi-function item has eyelets on the hem for use as a shelter or ground sheet, and hook & loop fasteners on the sides allowing you to use it as a sleeping bag cover. The fasteners allow “sleeves” to be formed so you can still handle equipment easily. Our Anyoo Unisex Adult Rain Poncho is perfect for the traveler, outdoor enthusiast, or for any outdoor activity with rain on the horizon.
Waterproof is always better than splash resistant as sometimes, when it rains, it pours.

Disney Bounding at Disneyland in March
March is the official Disney Bound Challenge month so if you are visiting the parks during March, you need to get your game on.
The goal of many Disney Bounders is to Disney Bound every day of the month, whether in the parks or not.
With so many ideas floating around the Disney Bounding community in March, you will have an easy job finding inspiration.
Rapunzel
Thanks to the pastel colors and flowered hair, Rapunzel is popular for Disney Bounding inspiration in the spring.
Floral Bounds are part of the challenge on the first day of spring and Rapunzel is an incredible choice for this.
Irish Disney Bounding
With St. Patrick’s Day annually on March 17th, Disney Bounders look to Irish inspiration and there are so many ways to take this on.
While Disney has multiple Irish Characters including Ducktales’ Chief O’Hara and Thomas O’Malley from Aristocats, I think Irish Disney Bounding is super cool with a Disney Parks theme.
Not only is Redd from The Pirates of the Caribbean Irish but The Enchanted Tiki Room’s Michael is Irish providing you with a whole spectrum of options.
You could even take inspiration from the Irish children in “it’s a small world!”
So many possibilities!
Disney Bunnies
If Easter falls in the month of March as it does this year, Disney Bunnies are also great inspiration for Disney Bounding.
Rabbit, Thumper, the White Rabbit, the March Hare and Roger Rabbit are all classic examples of some of Disney’s most iconic bunnies.
Alternatively, you could head down a more modern route taking inspo from Zootopia’s Judy Hopps or go retro with a blast from the past inspired by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
Remy
One of Disney’s most loved festivals returns to Disney California Adventure in March.
As a movie with a food-based storyline, Disney Bounding inspiration can be drawn from Ratatouille.
