What to Wear in March to Disney World for Women
Comfort is an important thing to consider, especially if your days are jam packed with plans and reservations.
For women, it’s great to find a pair of leggings (or shorts) and a graphic t-shirt. These are some of my favorite options when preparing my outfits for Disney.
However, there are lots of cute activewear selections if you want to feel a bit more comfortable, yet stylish.

Finding Shoes for Disney World
Comfy shoes can be running or walking shoes, supportive sandals, or any other shoe that you know will get your tired feet through a long day!
Dressing for Special Moments at Disney World
When you’re getting ready for your dinner reservations, you might want to have a couple of sundresses or blouses to meet the occasion.
However, many restaurants on Disney property do not have a strict dress code, so whichever Disney outfit you choose is welcome.
What to Wear in March to Disney World for Men
Like women, men can’t go wrong with the classic shorts and t-shirt combo.
Something with secure pockets is always recommended to keep any valuables safe on rides if you don’t plan on carrying a backpack.
You can make getting dressed a little more fun by wearing a Disney themed t-shirt, but it would also be a good idea to bring a sweatshirt for rope dropping mornings or evenings watching the fireworks.
A pair of athletic shoes will be your go-to footwear in your Disney World packing list, but be sure to bring a pair of sandals or flip-flops for the days you hit the pool at your resort.

Walt Disney World Weather in March
Springtime in the Orlando area usually sits around 75-80 degrees, which is the perfect weather for enjoying the Florida sunshine before it gets too hot.
That being said, some of the low temperatures can drop into the 50s, which would certainly call for those extra layering pieces included in your Disney packing list.
The rainy season doesn’t start until the beginning of summer, but Florida is well known for its unpredictable forecasts.
It’s always recommended that you prepare for at least a little bit of rain on your trip, whether it’s a passing afternoon shower or an all-day washout.
5 Best Accessories for Your Disney World Outfit
There are two types of accessories you’ll want to consider when you’re packing for your Disney trip in March:
- Cute accessories
- Functional accessories
Luckily, many items fit both categories!
1. Mickey and Minnie Ears
A staple accessory for visiting Walt Disney World is, of course, a pair of ears.
Whether you go for the classic Mouseketeer cap or a sparkly Minnie Mouse headband, your mouse ears will instantly make you feel all the Disney magic.
2. Backpacks for Disney World
Many Disney guests opt for a small backpack to carry their belongings throughout their day, but there are also cross-body bags if that feels more comfortable to you.
3. Water Bottle
Bringing along a reusable water bottle is probably a good idea, since there are many water fountains throughout Disney property to refill and stay hydrated.
4. Sunglasses
Since you’ll be visiting the Sunshine State, a good pair of sunglasses is completely necessary.
If you’re a Content Creator, bringing along your camera is also a great idea for capturing magical moments throughout your day.

5. Phone Charger
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, make sure to pack a phone charger!
If you have a portable charger, make sure you tuck that in your backpack. Otherwise, just bring along your charging cable, as Disney offers a few charging locations in each of their parks.

Disney Bounding in March
If you haven’t heard of Disney Bounding before, you’re in for a fun treat!
Since the Disney Parks do not allow adult guests to dress in costumes, Disney fans have come up with the idea of Disney bounding.
This basically means you design your everyday outfit around one of your favorite Disney characters, movies, or themes.
For example, a Disney bound outfit for Snow White might be a blue shirt, yellow shorts, and a red headband or hat.
You could add some cute accessories like apple-inspired jewelry to complete the look. Disney bounding can be as detailed or as subtle as you like, which is what makes it so fun!
What to Pack for Disney World in March
Your Disney World packing list should always include sunscreen, but you may want to bring a hat or visor to help protect yourself from that Florida sun.
It might also be a good idea to bring some extra socks in case your feet get wet in a sudden rain shower.
If you’re carrying a backpack, toss some little snacks in there to enjoy while you’re waiting in line or resting in the shade.
Also, if you’re staying at a resort or hotel with a pool, pack a bathing suit or two or three.
Disney’s resort pools offer towels to guests at no extra charge, so don’t worry about shoving one in your luggage.
