If you’re a fan of true Alaskan salmon, then you’ll be happy to know that the Copper River Salmon has made its way back to the menus of the Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Flying Fish Café at Disney’s Boardwalk area. The delicious and prized salmon is only available from mid-May to mid-June of 2015.

What a great way to start the first official week of May. The electricity of the force is in the air as Disney and Star Wars fans begin to prepare for the Star Wars Weekends coming to Hollywood Studios May 15th-June 14th 2015.
The always growing fans of the Fort Wilderness adventures will be happy to know that Disney will be releasing T-shirts inspired by Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort until May 3rd. The T-Shirts will also be inspired by the Campground itself and its long-running dinner show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
The Mexican Marimba Trio is the newest addition to the talented Mariachi Cobre! This group will showcase uniquely, prepared musical pieces centered around the marimba that celebrate the colorful, musical heritage of Mexico and the diverse influences on their music and culture.

Disney has just announced that reservations for the Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package are now available for dates starting June 17th to September 7th. As with most Disney events, the cost will be pretty much the cost of most American amusement parks.

Guests will be glad to know that Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts have begun offering new allergy-friendly menus in about 120 quick-service and table-service locations. The menus provide more options for guests with special dietary needs and requests. The new allergy-friendly menus provide allergen information for each menu item listed.
Ahh…the brink of Florida summer is quickly approaching and the Floridians are preparing for the time of year that makes us question our choice of residence. Luckily, Dockside Margaritas has opened just in time to usher in the variety of delicious thirst quenchers to make our heat-stricken summer more bearable.
A specialty Earth Day Cupcake is available to celebrate this special day. This chocolate cupcake has a chocolate mousse filling with white buttercream dipped in Oreo crumbs. It is topped with a chocolate flowerpot and gummy worms. You can find this cupcake at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery and Isle of Java in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is a sweet way to celebrate Earth Day at Disney.

The BOATHOUSE opened April 13th 2015 in Downtown Disney. As mentioned in previous posts, the BOATHOUSE will be an upscale, waterfront dining experience. This foodie adventure will immerse guests with live music and guided tours aboard the Captain’s Italian Water Taxi complete with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.
