13 Incredible Epcot Attractions Coming by 2021

If you’re new to ThemeParkHipster, then you may not be aware of how much I love and enjoy Epcot. It’s no surprise that hearing about all of the Epcot attractions coming by 2021, gets me super excited about my favorite theme park.

Epcot’s transformation is a reflection on the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebration that will happen in 2021.

Plus, Epcot is becoming a solo theme park traveler’s fan favorite and is a must do for anyone visiting Walt Disney World.

Let’s go through all the new attractions and features coming to Epcot by 2021.

Now through May 12, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to participate in Food & Beverage tests in which they will be able to place orders via a mobile app at Backlot Express and/or Fantasmic! Guests who have a FastPass+ selection and/or dining reservation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the test period will be eligible to participate.

Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park is an absolute guest and fan favorite at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Reservations can now be made for the fast-casual lunch experience at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Guest have the option to pre-order the meal 30 days prior up to 5 minutes before the reservation. Lunch is served daily from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

As the Downtown Disney Area transforms into Disney Springs, the first of its four distinct neighborhoods is starting to take shape along the waterfront. Known as The Landing, the area will be home to unique and memorable dining experiences including the just announced Morimoto Asia and The BOATHOUSE restaurants, opening in Spring or Summer 2015. ThemeParkHipsters will be excited to know that dining reservations will be available to book very soon.

New Magical ‘Once Upon a Time’ Photo Opportunity to Celebrate the Arrival of ‘Frozen’ Characters to Storybrooke: Elsa, Anna and Kristoff have made their way to Storybrooke on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” series. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating their arrival by providing guests with an exclusive “Once Upon a Time” Magic Shot. A Disney PhotoPass Photographer will take the photo in front of a “Once Upon a Time” background. Once that is done guest will be able to visit MyDisneyPhotoPass.com to claim the photo!

Happy Wednesday Hipsters! It’s time for your weekly Walt Disney World News.

Newsaroundmouse9.16New! Mobile Charging Lockers Removed: The test period for mobile phone charging lockers at Magic Kingdom Park have come to an end. The lockers are no longer available. If you need to charge mobile devices at Magic Kingdom, you can find outlets in the Tomorrowland Arcade and the FastPass+ kiosk location in Storybook Circus.

In addition to the standard AC power outlets, USB ports are also available for Guests to charge their mobile devices in Fantasyland.

Charging outlets are located in the ‘stumps’ at either end of the bench seating areas near Rapunzel’s village.

New! Mayhem at the Mansion App Added to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween PartyA new augmented reality app called Mayhem at the Mansion has been released for free via the iTunes store for use during the event. The app can be used to “capture” the three Hitchhiking Ghosts in the Magic Kingdom during the party by finding them with the help of an event map, and then “capturing” them using an iPhone’s camera. Then, guests are to “return” them to the Haunted Mansion. You can learn more at http://disneymansionmayhem.com.
