Hey Hipsters! It’s time for the latest update on Disney’s summertime vacation deals for 2014.
This past week brought about artic weather all across the United States. The bay area of Florida was even affected with lows around 32 degrees. I know, I know that our fellow Northerners would laugh at such a proclamation, but for the Floridians used to the year round tropical weather, anything below 60 degrees causes us to pull out our coats.
A small piece of New York City has landed in the center of the central Florida ThemePark world. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring The Rockettes premiered in Tampa this past Thursday to guests at the Straz Center. The guests were even treated to a grand red carpet event to welcome the lovely ladies, and Santa, as they were escorted down the aisle with Tampa Bay’s finest men in blue.
Black Friday shopping is done and Small Business Saturday has passed. We have now reached Cyber Monday, a day where all of us computer geeks can get our shopping on without fighting the crazy holiday crowds. For this Hipster, a journey to someone’s ThemePark completes my holiday list, but this year I’m thinking about doing a full out vacation style trip.
Autumn in central Florida is in full swing. There are never enough pumpkin patches, stunning leaf color transformations, and spooky attractions at the Theme Parks. The weather will also be much cooler…well at least for us Floridians…this up coming week. I am super excited about that.
What are you favorite fall activities to do at the amusement parks in Florida?

Happy Autumn!
I am so glad to finally say that. This day has been on my mind since it ended last year. Fall has always been my favorite time of the year and although the seasons in Florida don’t change as drastically as other parts of America, I am grateful for what we do receive.
What to do, what to do??? This is my off season for Theme Park hopping, which happens to be during the hottest and busiest months of the year (May to mid-September). The events are usually low in the summer months, but the crowds are still thick.
I love, love, love this time of the year! We may not have snow like our northern pals, but we do have our on way of celebrating here in Florida. If we’re fortunate enough the temperature may drop into the 50s, maybe even the upper 40s, to give us that tropical Christmas weather that we love.
Fall Theme Park fun has come and gone for us Floridians, but don’t worry I have posted a link below of some of my favorite moments from this past season.

Enjoy!

This is absolutely a wonderful way to end an exhausting day at the Disney parks. A stiff barrel aged Manhattan and a refreshing Gin-tle Breeze at Todd English’s BlueZoo Restaurant in the Swan and Dolphin Hotel. The hippest way to add an adult flavor to ThemePark fun!
