The CLC Regal Oaks Resort is a beautiful resort a short distance away from Walt Disney World and other Orlando attractions. I found this spectacular resort while scrolling through the Hotels .com app.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in the beautiful city of Orlando, Florida. If you are not aware, then you know that on my solo travels (or sometimes my travel with friends and family) always lead to some type of staycation!
I live in the heart of the tourist capital of the world, Orlando. We have Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld and so many other attractions on International Drive and even in Downtown Orlando, that I feel like I’m on vacation all of the time.
Pumpkin spice, horrors at Universal, wild nights at Busch Gardens, and trick or treating with Mickey are some things we love about fall in central Florida.
A couple of days ago I was riding in the car and for once I was able to have my windows down. There was a briskness in the Florida air that’s always welcomed and desired in this state. This time of year happens to be one of our (ThemeParkHipsters) favorites with the opportunity to enjoy the parks in the fall with fewer amounts of people. We come out of our summer hibernation in Florida and bask in the fall décor both autumn and spooky in nature as it kicks off the holiday season.
I’ve found a not so hidden gem right in the heart of Orlando. It’s called the Artegon Marketplace located on the north east end of International Drive.
I say hidden gem because knowing the previous history of the mall that used to be there, Artegon offers so many surprises around each and every corner in contrast to its predecessor.
Hurt, sadness, and confusion are just a few words describing what so many people are feeling in Orlando today.
Other local theme park enthusiasts and I were all looking forward to a summer of fun-filled excitement with the unveiling of new attractions.
However, the harsh reality of EVIL hit our home town in such a short period of time that has left us paralyzed.
Christmas week is finally here and I am soooo happy to be able to spend another year with my loved ones. In case you’re a visitor or a central Florida local, I wanted to give you all some alternative holiday options to celebrating this festive occasion. The on-site hotels of Universal Orlando Resort will be offering a variety of holiday happenings for the 2014 season.
News around Universal Studios this week just got a bit spookier as the 2014 Halloween Horror Nights details were released.

So Hipsters…I apologize in advance for the Harry Potter overload of stories coming from me for the next few months. I will try to spread them out as much as I can for the Muggles uninterested in the tales of the Boy Who Lived. However, being a Rowling fan and a fan of the wonderful universe she has created makes it hard for me not to want to write as many posts about the Diagon Alley expansion as I can.
A thrilling celebration was in store for Aquatica guests on Friday as Ihu’s Breakaway Falls opened to a tropical grand celebration. It was SeaWorld’s way of kicking off their summertime festivities.
The ride is named after the park’s colorful gecko mascot, Ihu, and is Aquatica’s first new ride since 2010.
Muggles, Witches, and Wizards all came dressed to celebrate The Boy Who Lived this past weekend at Universal Studios Orlando.
