Summertime in Florida is like no other state, especially for theme park goers. If you’re a resident of an area that experiences all four seasons with mild summers, then you will definitely be taken aback by the hot, humid, indescribable weather that Florida is known for.
Finally I can write a piece on my city of Tampa Bay, the sibling of Orlando. The day was like one of the many perfect weekend days that Florida is known for. It was also a day for me to indulge into the smells of fried food heaven, the hackling Midway gaming men, the sunshine state’s agricultural world, the local art, and the quickly put together rides that are staples of the Florida State Fair.
As I sit here prepping for the holiday season ahead, I realize that each year goes by faster and faster. Sometimes the earlier portions of the year feel so far in the distant, like a thick foggy Florida morning. A week may every now and then seem so long ago.

2014 is approaching and Universal Studios Florida is well on its way to completing the historic expansion to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Orlando has been officially Tranformatized (my own word, lol) and if you were anywhere near Universal Studios you would have felt the excitement roaring in the air. In true Universal style the grand opening show was spectacular.
I had the pleasure of attending the 2013 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, which actually turned out to be one of my best times at the park. The cooler temperature was balanced by the soft kisses of the Florida sun on my skin. Immediately upon entering EPCOT I was greeted by the beloved faces of the Disney brand enjoying they’re rendition of a colorful springtime bar-b-que.
