For the Disney foodies or the Hipsters who just loves great dining will be happy to hear about the savory changes coming to the Boatwright’s Dining Hall menu. This Port Orleans Resort restaurant is a fan favorite through the southern, creole inspired dishes served daily for guests.
Changes that have taken place on the menu will show the removal of the Gulf Delta Chilled Shellfish in addition of the Ol’ Man Island Oysters. Boatwright’s Dining Hall has added the new Colonel’s Peace Pieces which combines a blend of lightly fried oysters, crawfish, shrimp, and okra drizzled with the house-made remoulade.
Joining the appetizer selection will be the Pirogue Platter which includes the Chef’s selection of meats and artisanal cheeses.
The new Ponchartrain Pasta will now include orecchiette pasta, Andouille sausage and fresh shrimp, complete with fresh corn, and tossed in a light cream sauce.
The most anticipated dish (well at least for me) is the Voodoo Chicken. The Voodoo Chicken will entrance everyone’s taste buds as it dances fluently the palates along with fluffy waffles garnished with maple bacon gravy.
Guests will now be able to add Shrimp Creole, Crab Imperial or Crawfish Mac n’ Cheese to enhance their entrée experience.
