Preferably places without screaming kids, Mickey Mouse ears or giant-sized Olafs.

Let’s first start with one of my favorite things to do in Central Florida, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium!
Be magically whisked away inside this aquatic journey deep into the major seas of the planet.
Here at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, you’ll travel through the major oceans and bodies of water throughout the planet such as the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, the Everglades habitat and so much more!
Boasting Florida’s only 360 degree ocean tunnel, each water habitat exhibit has the environment tailored specifically for the aquatic life that’s known to live in that particular condition.
And although I was invited to enjoy this Orlando attraction, it doesn’t change the fact that this was such a nice break from the Florida theme parks and actually turned out to be a great date for me and my husband.
Behind the Scenes Tour at Sea
You can even do a behind-the-scenes tour for only an additional $10!
This incredible tour will show you how the Team Members of SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium care for the creatures in this accredited AZA aquarium.
It’s such an exciting experience as you get to see how they maintain the perfect water salinity and temperature for each type of aquatic habitat.
You’ll also get to see the giant aquarium from above where Deep Divers enter to clean or fix anything in the ginormous tanks.
At the end of the tour, you’ll be given the opportunity to feed the fish a snack (which was my absolute favorite part of the tour).

Get ready to meet your favorite celebrities and changemakers up-close and personal all in one place!
At Madame Tussauds Orlando, you’ll see some of the most incredibly crafted artisan work reflected in the wax statues of people such as Beyonce, Walt Disney, Aquaman, Emma Watson, Steven Spielberg and more!

What’s more adult than going to a bar right? But this isn’t just any bar.
It’s the largest permanent ice bar in the entire world and 70 tons of hand-carved icy bliss.
With lights, music and gorgeous ice sculptures, it’s a wintry paradise. They even have an icy throne especially for you (why should Elsa have all the fun?).
When it gets too cold, you can try their signature cocktails in the Fire Lounge (which by the way has a great party scene).
Plus, the food here is incredible! Making it one of the best indoor activities in Orlando.
While you can bring your own warm clothing, they also provide you with parkas and gloves. You need to pay $10 extra if you want a faux fur coat though.

4. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition on International Drive
This RMS Titanic is the most famous ship of all time.
Even if you simply liked the movie Titanic and knew nothing of the history of it, the Titanic exhibit in Orlando will take your breath away.
There are real pieces from the sunken ship, dramatic reenactments and a complete recreation of the ship’s Grand Staircase.
It also boasts of the second-largest piece of the RMS Titanic ever recovered– a three-ton piece of hull.
It’s a truly immersive and educational experience (with loads of discounts available online).

5. The Escape Game Orlando
This next activity is teetering on the edge of your budget.
But if you are going in with great company, it could be a very cherished memory– a bonding experience I am told.
Or you can start the game with a bunch of strangers and end it with friends.
It is the usual escape room game: your entire group is locked in a room for 60 minutes during which you can decode a puzzle and escape from the room.
What is unique about The Escape Game Orlando is that they have so many different experiences/rooms you can choose from– prison breaks, spaceship repair or museum heists.
Every room is an adventure!
Unfortunately, I didn’t win on my adventure but you will most likely do better than me.

6. Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Orlando
You want to go someplace really fascinating? Ripley’s basically invented the word.
Upon entering the Odditorium, you will immediately see at least 20 things you have never even thought of.
Jaw-dropping pieces of art, curious artifacts (yes, I’m talking about the shrunken heads) and a weird vortex-tunnel– all rolled into a super-fun interactive experience.
Ripley’s is definitely not to be missed. Making it one of the unique indoor activities in Orlando.
Oh, and they have free parking for you. It just keeps getting better, doesn’t it?

7. Mangos Tropical Café Orlando
If you’re thinking of partying it up with style in Orlando, I cannot think of a better place than Mangos.
This is what you can expect from the world-class dinner and show at Mangos: a three-course dinner, dances ranging from Brazilian Samba to a Michael Jackson act and a trip down the musical memory lane.
You can also head down to the nightclub and dance to the beats yourself! Or chill in the Vodou Room with a bottle of wine and friends.

8. Funny Bone Comedy Club in Orlando
Comedy is everyone’s cup of tea, I’m told. If you’re looking for a heady evening of scandalous jokes, surprising events and overall hilarity, you could not choose a better place than the The Funny Bone Comedy Club.
They have a long line of the best comedians lined up. Many of the world’s best comedians have graced the stage at the Improv in the past.
I’m talking about Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Bruce Bruce, Robin Williams, Kevin Hart, Mike Epps and so much more!

9. World of Chocolate Museum
If it has the word chocolate in it, I’m sold!
The World of Chocolate Museum has 25 sculptures carved out of solid blocks of chocolate, a rainforest experience that explains where chocolate comes from and a sampling of the world’s best chocolates.
And then when you get hungry (which you will eventually I promise), you can run along to their cafe.
They give you hot chocolate in a mug there. So? Are you sold yet?

10. Dr Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
A non-profit organization devoted to art may not seem like the best place to spend a fun evening.
But when you see what they have lined up for you, you may change your mind.
If you’re feeling a little extravagant (or you have just watched Bridgerton and want a reason to dress up) you need to visit the Dr. Phillips Center.
You can watch a ballet, a Broadway show or even a concert– feeling like a real lady/gentleman the entire time.

11. Orlando Magic Game (Kia Center formerly the Amway Center)
I know, I know. We said no magic. But if you skip the name, there’s hardly anything magical about the Orlando Magic Game. Unless you really really really like basketball.
I should explain: Orlando Magic is the name of Orlando’s franchise in the NBA. Yes Hipsters, that’s an NBA game you can go to in Orlando.
Make sure to pick up some jerseys for the home team!

12. Jellyrolls Dueling Pianos on the Boardwalk at Disney
I know this is a Disney-free list but this barely qualifies as Disney.
I mean it’s a bar for starters. And they (obviously) serve alcohol (how else would they get people to sing along?).
But I am getting ahead of myself. Let me explain what the Jellyrolls Dueling Pianos.
You sit in a rambunctious crowd inside the bar and try to stump the piano maestros on stage by coming up with obscure songs. Sounds like fun? Try doing it when you’re slightly tipsy.
These maestros have been trained to play virtually any song. And there are very few times when they were stumped.
So, are you up to the challenge?

13. The Wine Room Winter Park
Yep, it’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s a room full of the most delicious and potent wines on this side of the coast.
When you are feeling exceptionally classy and want to have an ‘adult’ evening, what better thing to do than a wine tasting? Am I right?
But, The Wine Room is more than just a wine-tasting place. You can think of it as an adult version of Dave and Busters.
I say this because of how you can put money on your card and sample wine all evening long!
I’ve always had loads of fun there. Especially since it’s located in the beautiful and historic city of Winter Park, Florida.
Don’t forget to try some of their small bites and desserts before you start drinking! Making it one of the best indoor activities in Orlando.

I just looooove visiting any GameTime location. The fondness for this hybrid arcade location began in my earlier days of living in Tampa, Florida.
So, you know that I was super excited that we would have one coming to the Orlando area.
GameTime Kissimmee is MORE than an arcade, it’s the ultimate destination perfect for adults to hangout at one of most amazing indoor activities in Orlando.
I mean, what grown-ups wouldn’t enjoy visiting this type of place on a Florida vacation!
After all, it’s filled with action-packed indoor amusements, from classic arcade attractions such as skee-ball, basketball throw-downs, bowling and over 100 interactive games.
Best of all, GameTime Kissimmee features a full-service dining venue and a sports bar with dishes for everyone.
It’s also located in Sunset Walk, which houses top-notch Orlando restaurants, shopping, and entertainment activities!

WonderWorks is where you can use your mind in the most strange, but amusing way!
The building has become an iconic landmark on International Drive, making it the perfect Orlando indoor attraction for the mind.

This is also in addition to the science experiments, challenge zones and areas that will take you on a unique adventure.
