Halloween at the Parks

Here Comes Halloween

Halloween is Here!

Tampa, FL (August 23, 2013) – Ahhh, can you hear it? Listen closely to the ghastly sounds of dark creatures emerging in central Florida for their grand arrival. Mazes are being uprooted to accommodate the evil presence that is being meticulously orchestrated. The creative teams at both Universal Studios Orlando and Busch Gardens of Tampa are prepping to usher in a new wave of terror this Halloween season.

HIPSTER Review: Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 22 Orlando

My trip to Orlando last weekend was filled with exciting events. One of the events that I had the pleasure of attending was Halloween Horror Nights 22 (HHN) over at Universal Studios. With my nerves on ten I kept playing scenarios of possible chilling scenes that were on the way. Once finally able to push them aside, I entered the crowded gates of HHN for a somewhat spine-tingling evening.

HIPSTER Review: Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream 2012

This past weekend I made my way over to Busch Gardens for their annual Howl-O-Scream event. To my surprise I had a great time!

Getting there early really helped me optimize my time and I was able to go through five of the six houses.

I skipped the shows this year to focus on the haunted attractions.

Halloween Horror Nights 2012 Survival Guide and Tips

I am such a scaredy-cat that I wonder why I place myself in paid situations to be frightened.

I started going to Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) back in 2005 and I became addicted to the fun, excitement, and detail that Universal puts into this event.

HIPSTER Photo of the Week: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Hipster Photo of the Week: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is going on now through November 2, 2012. I have not had a chance to visit yet, but the décor shown during the regular park hours does set the mood for the start of fall.

This is a kid friendly spooktacular event, but if you want to get dressed up and bring out the kid in you this will be a great place to start.

“I will walk through the Hallows!”

Hallows Party at Universal Halloween Horror Nights

Each year I look forward to the yearly Halloween events that take place around central Florida and this year is no different. This time I am promising myself that I will go into each haunted maze with a determined attitude to keep my eyes open the entire time, and to keep my screams to the bare MINIMUM….meaning instead of a constant song of screams, I will keep it to just a quick random chorus of squeals.

SeaWorld Tips and Tricks

15 Sensational SeaWorld Spooktacular Tips for 2019

You don’t have to only visit Universal Orlando Resort or Walt Disney World Resort for an amazing Halloween experience in central Florida. SeaWorld Spooktacular is another fall event that you’ll come to love while visiting Orlando.

I’ve been working seven days straight without having the chance to check out the latest fall décor over at SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular and at the other parks.

This is mostly due to my late nights working that leave me extremely tired the next day.

As I started reviewing my past experiences of this annual event, I thought it’ll be great to give you some ways to enjoy it.

After all, SeaWorld Spooktacular is not just for kids.
