Dreamworks Land Ride and Play Areas at Universal Studios Florida
Dreamworks Land in Orlando has added a new hair-raising ride at Universal Studios Florida.
Trolls Trollercoaster
Well not entirely new, some of you may remember it as the Woody Woodpecker coaster but you would never know.
It has been themed so well that it feels and looks like a whole new troll-tastic adventure that you can’t miss.
This kid-friendly ride at Universal Orlando Resort has a minimum height requirement is 36″ (92 cm) with anyone under 48” (122 cm) requiring a supervising companion.
Trolls Trollercoaster is also one of the Universal Express pass rides.
Walk through the adorable archway, climb into your purple little bug car, and hang on tight as this Dreamworks Land ride has you accelerating, dropping, and tilting every which way.
At the end is a rainbow-colored surprise where you can pick up your ride photo too.
Poppy’s Playground Kids’ Play Area
Across from the Trollercoaster, fun is in full bloom for your tiny trolls at Poppy’s Playground Kids’ Play Area.
The play area is over-the-top adorable with pops of color and fun things for your little trolls to jump, crawl, and explore.
Even crawl in and hideaway for some much-needed shade from the Florida heat.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. They can cool off at the Troll fountain, which has gentle water coming out all around it.

Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres Kids’ Play Area
With a height limit to play alone, Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres Kids’ Play Area ensures your little ogres are safe.
There are areas to run and play, climb on rope ladders and bridges, and bounce. Even a farting slide where you slide out of Shrek’s outhouse for some ogre-the-top fun.
Pinocchio is there waiting for you to hit the big red button at the Fact Shack to share with you some so-called Fact Checks.
But word in the swamp is that they could be silly white lies!
When it’s time to cool off they can get a little wet in the swampy play area at the squirting cattails in the Swamp Splash Pad.
Then step into the Ogre Dryer where they will huff and puff and blow your clothes dry.
King Harold’s Swamp Symphony Kids’ Play Area
It’s a hopping good time over at King Harold’s Swamp Symphony Kids’ Play Area with musical lily pads.
As you leap along the different lily pads, they match up to one of the frogs up on the log above croaking out at you in a symphony of sounds.
It’s totally ribbit-ing for little ones to see who calls out as they bounce through the pond.
King Harold himself is perched up there in his frogtastic statue amongst the others in all his glory.
Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp Kids’ Play Area
It’s time for all the tiny ninjas to unleash their inner Dragon Warrior—Po-style.
Where the Curious George section once was has now been transformed into an incredibly realistic Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp Kids’ Play Area.
It may be a kid’s play area, but adults, you will still want to check this out its construction is kung-fu-nomenal. Plus, you can see if you have the strength to pull on the Gong of Resounding Resonance.
Mr. Ping’s Noodle Kaboodle has spinners and of course plenty of noodles every which way you look.
The Pond of Perpetual Wetness is another place where wee warriors can chill and cool off. There is also the Laundry of Ultimate Cleanliness with drop buckets.
