Top 3 SeaWorld Orlando Restaurant Tips for Your Trip
Now that you know where to eat near SeaWorld, let’s go through the BEST tips for your visit.
1. Have Your Meals Planned Out Beforehand!
If you’re a regular park hopping ThemeParkHipster, you know a long park day can be T-I-R-I-N-G!
All those hours walking in the hot sun – as fun as they are – can take a lot of energy out of you by the end of the day.
Therefore, our favorite tip? Have your meals planned out ahead of time!
What will you be eating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that day?
Will your breakfast be a hearty choice from the best restaurants near SeaWorld list above, or will you save eating out for at night?
You will also have to think about if you will bring a bagged lunch to enjoy at the park, or eat in park food?
Having all your meals planned out ahead of time will help you enjoy your day better and beat “decision fatigue” aka: getting even more tired and grumpy and hangry trying to figure food out when you’re already exhausted!
2. Protein, Protein, Protein!
Take it from me, who once tried to do a long theme park day on a breakfast of Sprinkles cupcakes – as delicious as all those in park sweet treats are, to truly enjoy your long park day, you’ll definitely need some protein in you too!
So balance out your Portillo’s Cake Shake or @ The Diner’s pancakes with some hearty eggs or a burger – so you can keep up your energy, and the park hopping fun, all day long!
3. Budget Your Meals Ahead of Time
As fun as it may seem now to want to try every one of these best restaurants near SeaWorld, remember that costs add up!
Between hotel rooms, theme park tickets, and eating, your simple vacation can end up costing thousands really quickly!
To avoid this, come up with a daily food budget. Take the amount of money you’re happy to spend on food overall during your trip, and divide by the number of days.
For example, if your trip is 5 days long, and you’d like to spend $200 on food overall, divide 200 by 5 and you’ll see you can spend up to $40 a day.
That can break down into three meals per day at about $12 each, or eat simple self prepared meals all day and splurge on a $40 dinner!
There’s no wrong or right way to go about it, so long as you’re happy with your spending at the end of the day.
