Today I made an unexpected trip to Walt Disney World. I’ve been going through the unforeseeable trials of life lately and this place is truly my own refuge from the harsh realities of this world. I call it my personal Therapist. Whenever I see the “Welcome to Walt Disney World” sign that greets me at the entrance, my whole mood changes and I began to perk up.
There are many rumors circulating about what building is for each attraction.
I have my own opinions too, but what do you think?
The recent released news regarding the Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion gave me the urge to head over to Universal’s Island of Adventures to complete another New Year’s Resolution. Writing in Hogsmeade was very inspiring. After all, the creator of this great world inspired me to began writing my own novel.
I had the pleasure of attending the 2013 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, which actually turned out to be one of my best times at the park. The cooler temperature was balanced by the soft kisses of the Florida sun on my skin. Immediately upon entering EPCOT I was greeted by the beloved faces of the Disney brand enjoying they’re rendition of a colorful springtime bar-b-que.
It was a Saturday morning on a clear and beautiful February day here in Florida. I walked up to this bright blue and silver building in Hollywood Studios with one goal in mind….to finally immerse myself in the American Idol experience.
Who loves collecting park maps?
Me, Me, Me!
What started off as a simple “let me have this map as a souvenir”, mainly because my mom couldn’t really afford to buy us both food and park trinkets, became a must do every time I was at a Theme Park, rest stop, or hotel. Then I started doing it because I was a very imaginative young girl and I wanted to relive the experience once I got back home.
*UPDATE: Passholder early preview registration has been moved to Monday October 15, 2012 at 12:00 noon*
The newest edition coming to Disney’s Magic Kingdom is the New Fantasyland expansion. This will be the largest expansion in history of the park. The new area will open up in different phases.
Welcome to ThemeParkHipster!
This blog is for the young at heart who love the non-traditional way of park hopping.
We have grown up with the love of the whimsical magic that the theme parks here in central Florida have come to display; however, as adulthood sneaks upon us we are expected to “put away” childish things and to live in a constant reality.
