I believe many people will say that being an adult means putting away childish things, living responsibly and maturely in society. Sometimes the focus of “adulthood” and all of the things that come with it can take the joy of life away from us. We focus on the day to day responsibilities of work, family, and the expectations of this world that we forget to pause and enjoy the life we have.
This quote is what I’ve been reciting every other day for the past couple of weeks. I hate to go all “Chicken Soup for the Soul” on you, but every day is a new opportunity to face my fears and take risks that a year ago I would have never thought about doing.

It’s official! The construction for the AVATAR inspired land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has begun. Giant blue shovels and a life sized Na’vi marked the start of this exciting park expansion.
Whelp, it’s a new year again and like most people I’ve made resolutions for 2014; however, my resolutions involve animals of Africa, food from France, and a voyage on the Titanic ThemeParkHipster style!
I am determined to conquer my ThemePark resolutions this year. Last year I procrastinated half way through, which led to my disappointing letdown of the 2013 goals. A small piece of New York City has landed in the center of the central Florida ThemePark world. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring The Rockettes premiered in Tampa this past Thursday to guests at the Straz Center. The guests were even treated to a grand red carpet event to welcome the lovely ladies, and Santa, as they were escorted down the aisle with Tampa Bay’s finest men in blue.
As I sit here prepping for the holiday season ahead, I realize that each year goes by faster and faster. Sometimes the earlier portions of the year feel so far in the distant, like a thick foggy Florida morning. A week may every now and then seem so long ago.
