1. Mandara Spa (Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Resort)
Let’s start with one of the more “budget-friendly” options on this list. I only say this because you can usually find a great deal for it on Groupon.
I love this spot because it makes you feel as if you’ve been transported to a Balinese paradise without leaving Disney property?
When you walk into the common area, you’ll be blown away by the large size and the Asian inspired architecture and decor.
You’ll truly forget that you’re on a vacation at Disney World.
The spa’s serene ambiance became the backdrop for an unforgettable escape, where all I did was unwind amidst the lush surroundings as it truly took my mind off of life’s stresses.
Pros
The staff here are awesome and they’ve always been welcoming and accommodating. Just be sure to ask for Gail when getting your nails done. She is amazing!
Below are a few more things that I love about the Mandara Spa at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Resort:
- Unique Balinese-inspired ambiance
- Diverse menu of treatments
- Convenient location near Epcot and Hollywood Studios
- Free drink after your massage
- Large relaxation area with multiple rooms
- Wonderful outdoor balcony with a great view
- Complimentary amenities such as access to a shower, massage chairs, a delightful spread of trail mix and more!
Cons
There aren’t many cons for this location but there were a few things that I did notice:
- Books up quickly during peak seasons
- There is one staff member that talk a lot during your treatment about all of the things you need to be mindful of so that can be a bit stressful when you’re trying to relax (be sure to speak up and request silence)
As you can see, the experience at Mandara Spa extends beyond the treatment itself.
What makes Mandara Spa truly exceptional is its commitment to creating a holistic escape that caters to all the senses.

2. Senses (Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa)
Looking for a touch of Victorian elegance with your Disney relaxation? Senses at The Grand Floridian is your ticket to timeless pampering.
This spa transports you to a serene Floridian garden, complete with turn-of-the-century charm and as I mentioned earlier, it’s my favorite option on this list.
For one, it’s super easy to book online and there’s always an opening if I give myself at least 72 hours before I book.
When you walk inside of this location, you immediately feel as if you’ve been transported into a luxurious oasis.
You’ll also fall in love with the Steam/Pool Room which houses the most incredible stone chairs that are warmed up to perfection. Great to sit on after a muscle-relaxing massage.
I recommend asking for Debbie at your booking as I’ve found much success with her when I was dealing with some back pain issues.

4. Waldorf Astoria Orlando Spa
Ready to indulge in some five-star pampering in Mickey’s backyard? The Waldorf Astoria Orlando Spa is your ticket to pure bliss.
This luxurious oasis offers a serene escape from the park crowds, with a touch of that famous Waldorf elegance and one of my top picks on this list.
It recently went under a massive construction update and the results are absolutely stunning!
There’s so much to do here amenities-wise such as the jacuzzi room, fitness room access, delicious snacks/teas from around the world and so much more!
If you’re looking for help with any muscle discomfort, then I recommend asking for Hannah. She is AMAZING and she was the one who helped me finally get rid of my back pain.
Just know that if you ask her to help with this, then the massage may be more therapeutic than relaxing. You’ll be super sore afterwards but it will be so worth it.
After you’re done with your treatment, the team will escort you into this opulent common area which is one of my favorite places to hangout when I’m there.
You’ll even get a complimentary drink as you finish up your relaxing retreat.
