What is Boo Bash at Disney World?

Disney’s Boo Bash is a brand-new After-Hours event that was created to replace Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for this year. Whether this is a permanent or temporary replacement remains to be seen.

Similar to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you are welcome to wear Halloween costumes. This is a big perk when it comes to these kinds of events as generally adult guests are not allowed to wear costumes in the park.

Please check Walt Disney World’s website for costume guidelines.

This event allows you to enter as early as 7 p.m. to enjoy three fright filled hours of ghoulish delight.

Disney will enchant guests with three different cavalcades for the event:

  • Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade will feature the Pumpkin King himself, Sally and Ooogie Boogie from the beloved The Nightmare Before Christmas film
  • Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade features Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and friends in super cute Halloween costumes as they float through the park to greet the guests.

The Dragon Returns…

These cavalcades will also have the fire breathing Maleficent dragon which is normally seen in Festival of Fantasy parade. This will be the dragon’s first debut since Walt Disney World closed for the pandemic.

Cadaver Dans

Characters are still currently doing social distanced meeting so for this event, characters will occasionally pop up to interact with guests. The Cadaver Dans will be charming guests for a spooky comeback from the dead.

More Characters

You can also be on the lookout for Goofy, Chip n Dale, Miss Carlotta, Miss Renata and Broome the Butler at the Haunted Mansion and Foulfellow and Gideon from “Pinocchio.”

4. Little to No Wait

One of the best perks about the event is less wait times for some beloved and favorite attractions. Over 20 attractions will be open at Magic Kingdom for guests to ride including:
