Are you looking for the best things to do at Epcot for adults?
Look no further!
I have only to the top experiences listed for you which include some hidden gems.
Epcot is the one Disney Park that I feel we can all agree is the one park that is perfect for adults to visit.
One would assume immediately that this is because of the ability to drink around the world.
Epcot is unique in its ability to allow its guests to experience different cultures from around the world, especially through its food and beverages.
“Drinking Around The World” has become a staple within the theme park community when it comes to World Showcase.
There is way more opportunities to experience something fun and different for adults as Epcot and today I will be sharing 7 of my favorites with you!

1. Tea Experience
Did you know that you could do a Twinings Tea Tasting with an experienced Cast Member?
At the Tea Caddy in the U.K. Pavilion, you can explore the history of the World famous Twinings Tea and essentially have a private adult private tea party (because not too many people know about this hidden Disney gem).
World Showcase is all about immersing yourself in the culture and with this experience, you can learn about the famous English tea brand, its history and try out some of their most popular flavors.
Making it one of the best things to do at Epcot for adults.
When Are the Epcot Tea Tastings?
They are conducted daily with times varying throughout the day. However, you do need to sign up 30 minutes in advance at The Tea Caddy.
How much does the Epcot Tea Tasting cost?
You’ll be happy to know that this is a FREE Disney World experience but like I mentioned earlier, you have to sign up 30 minutes in advance.
According to planDisney, a self-guided tea tour pamphlet is available, too.

2. Epcot Seas Adventures DiveQuest Tour
Do you remember that episode of Full House when they go to Disney World and Joey and Jesse record their radio show in an aquarium tank?
Did you know that you can actually snorkel in that very same tank?
One of the best things about this is that guests do not have to be scuba certified to partake in the other option: EPCOT Seas Adventures – Dolphins in Depth.
What’s Included in the Epcot DiveQuest?
You will spend 2 hours exploring this 5.7-gallon man made Caribbean coral reef.
While you won’t be diving, you will get the opportunity to mingle with over 2000 sea creatures in the clear, saltwater tank.
This experience includes a 40-minute guided exploration of the tank as well as a chance to ask questions regarding the care of the animals, types of animals, and more.
You get a tour of the infrastructure that houses these spectacular creatures, get a complimentary photo of your group in your gear and a souvenir to take home with you.
How much does the Epcot DiveQuest cost?
This once in a lifetime experience starts at $229 per person before tax and is accessible for guests with disabilities. You must call and pay in advance to book.
3. Experience Fine Dining Japanese Style at Takumi Tei
Inside the quiet and intimate Japan Pavilion lies Takumei-Tei restaurant, located next to the Mitsukoshi store.
Every room in the restaurant is themed after an element and you can enjoy the most luxurious 7-course meal. Making it one of the best things to do at Epcot for adults.
What’s Included with your meal at Takumi Tei?
You will spend about 1.5 to 2 hours experiencing the balance and tranquility of Japanese art, nature combined with fine dining.
Your meal will feature 2 omakase menus:
- Kiku – The Omnivorous Course (starting at $250, tax and gratuity not included)
- Hasu – The Plant-based Course (starting at $150, tax and gratuity not included)
Cost to Eat at Takumi Tei
I will say it is very, VERY pricey! The prices are Takumi Tei are between $150 and a whopping $250 for the Omakase experience plus tax and tip.
However, this experience truly is something to behold for adults visiting Disney World.
4. Try a Wine Walk Around the World
While I did mention that many Guests come to Epcot to try out some alcohol from around the world, very many are unaware about the many different wine flights that you can try throughout World Showcase.
The World Showcase Wine Walk features flights from the Germany, Italy and France Pavilions and a wonderful way to learn about old world wines throughout these countries.
Something to note is that I’ve been getting mixed information on whether we can still do the Wine Walk at Epcot. I chatted with Cast Members a few months ago at Epcot who were unsure.
I did find this information on planDisney that it’s still going on but I will continue to check for you.
How much does the Wine Walk Cost at Epcot?
The best part is that it won’t break the bank for you compared to some other options on this list. It’s priced at an affordable amount from $25 to $35.
In order to participate, you would show up to one of the Wine Walk locations at any of these pavilions:
Once you pay, you will be treated to a tasting of red and white wines from these different countries, and a thorough history of these wines and their connection to their countries.
It’s a more sophisticated way to drink around the world and an affordable way to get that fix.

5. Epcot Festivals
It wouldn’t be a “best of” list for Epcot if I didn’t mention the festivals that happen pretty much year-round.
Anytime you visit Epcot, there is bound to be a festival happening with a special and unique theme. The Epcot festivals are as follows:
- Festival of the Arts: January to Late February
- Flower and Garden Festival: March to Late May (sometimes as late as early July)
- Food and Wine Festival: August (sometimes late July) to Mid-November
- Festival of the Holidays: Late November to the end of December
These festivals are full of many offerings ranging from special merchandise to commemorate the specific festivals.
There are also workshops, depending on the theme of the festival, like Flower and Garden where they have gardening tip workshops or specialty gardens for all kinds of flora or butterflies.
With the Festival of The Arts and Food and Wine Festival, you can chow down and indulge in specialty treats with amazing goodies.
You can even partake in all different kinds of art forms like chalk art, painting, postcards and you can participate in a community “paint by the numbers” activity.
Why This is One of the Best Things to Do at Epcot for Adults
Nothing is complete without taking a piece of art home with you and supporting a local artist or brewery in Orlando.
Festival of the Holidays gives guests a chance to celebrate all sorts of religious occasions all over the globe in world showcase including: Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Christmas.
You can hear storytellers tell their holiday tales from their perspective countries in every pavilion, try festive treats and truly feel the spirit of the season no matter where you go in Epcot.
These festivals have become a huge draw and staple for adult guests as there are so many things to do, see and experience no matter when you visit.
